In 2021, BeCare App was granted FDA approval for marketing to US users without additional regulatory requirements.
The BeCare MS Link mobile app is available to the general public, including all activities, questionnaires, and healthcare provider features. The unique app received Class I classification in 2021. However, the proprietary EDSS scoring is currently only available for use in an academic/research setting, but it will be released to the public pending FDA clearance. As of 2022, the application for Class II classification has been submitted to the FDA.
